I've been searching high and low these last weeks again in an attempt to find that perfect pumpkin cream cheese muffine recipe goodness. I visited a Starbucks yesterday with the hopes of bringing home one of these delicious treats to put my tastebuds to work and have one original side-by-side with one I will try to make again.
There are several recipes floating around out on the Web claiming to be the Starbucks recipe…but I've tried at least one of them (see post here) and it wasn't close. It was good, but not comparable to the original one I'm trying to copy cat.
This evening I'm trying a new recipe with some twists and changes. I'll post as soon as I have the results and hopefully some images to share — good or bad!
Update 09/18/2009: Made some Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffins last night. Not bad. Need to further perfect and will post once I'm comfortable sharing. I did use pepitas and created that sugary crunch like we enjoy on the Starbucks muffins!
