Moo Mini Cards

Received a couple of cute little boxes in the mail yesterday. I ordered some Moo MiniCards using some of my food photography on the backside.    These little gems are deliciously sweet and cute!   Each box contains 100 mini cards with a couple of dividers to store your minis and those that you’ve minicard swapped.

Moo Mini Cards - Opened!

With the Food Blog Forum Food Blogging Seminar and CampBlogAway events around the corner, I felt in need of some of these little minicards.

I used the Teenie Cakes font and color to design the front.   You can download a template from their Web site as a guide if you decide to customize your own.   If you’re interested in these and decide to customize the front-side, just a little advice.   Design using as much of the entire document printing area.   Don’t worry that it’s going to be too large because it’s not. My tag line and blog/twitter info ended up being a bit too small. No worries, it’s already fixed should I need to print these out again!

Update 05/11/2010

I ended up ordering two boxes of Moo Business Cards on May 3, 2010. Why didn’t I learn my lesson the first time after ordering Moo-Minis? I took some of the fault as my own that maybe I didn’t design it large enough and I love the fact that the back of my cards displays my photography – easily imported and selected from Flickr. I received my cards on May 10, 2010. Horrible quality. I customized the card uploading my own image using the TeenieCakes.com logo. The quality on the output was ghastly. Why wouldn’t someone from the MOO Company watch for quality issues and contact me if the image I sent was not going to put out a good quality output? 24 hours later I still haven’t heard from the company after three emails. I have since placed an order with another company for cards I need by the end of this week. I would NOT recommend this MOO Company. There is no customer service or response in a timely matter. Where is the phone number on their Web site to contact them?

Buyer beware!

- @Liren {Kitchen Worth}: Isn’t the size so cute? I like the minis…but I think I might try the std size next time. I understand that the FBF may be traveling to different venues. =)

Did I ever tell you how awesome your photos are??? Great moo cards. You know, I so enjoy reading your blog. There is nothing better than a food blog with first rate photos and illustrations except… It keeps me from what I should be doing, staying way longer than I should! Have a great weekend.

I ordered mine a while ago and I was as flabbergasted as you when I received them… they’re so unbelievably cute! And it’s so exciting to see your own photos in print, isn’t it?

I love! I also just ordered the standard sized Moo cards, but now I wish I had gotten the minis! Have fun at the seminars, wish I could make the Food Blog Forum!

Cute cards….perfect for the seminar and camp! Looks like it’s gonna be lots of fun. Unfortunately I am too far away. BTW, I like your new profile pix at Foodbuzz :)
