Patrón POMegranate – ¡Salud!

Patrón POM Pomegranate

It’s been toasty warm here in Southern California and the forecast doesn’t sound like any relief is in sight for the rest of this new week. The weekend welcomed a perfect reason to try a new cocktail at home with some good tequila and healthy juice. POM Wonderful Pomegranate Juice sent me and the TeenieCakes.com site some bottles of juice to try.

Hubby received a generous gift from a good friend of five varieites of Patrón tequilas some months back. This was the opportunity to enjoy these tequilas and splash it up with healthy pomegranate juice with a mixologist recipe I found from Patrón.

Patrón POMegranate
source Cristina from TeenieCakes.com

1 oz. Patrón Silver
1/4 oz. Patrón Citrónge
POM Pomegranate Juice
Lemon squeeze and rind/slice for garnish

Pour Patrón Silver and Patrón Citrónge over ice. Add fresh POM Pomegranate Juice to taste. Add a squeeze of lemon and garnish with either an orange or lemon twist. ¡Salud!

That cocktail does look refreshing. I bet it catches up with you before you know it and the Patron Citron is good stuff.

Doesn’t it feel as though summer has finally arrived (lol, perfect, just in time for my kids to return to school)? This cocktail is PERFECT for a day like today – beautiful combination of POMegranate and Patron!
