Winter finally arrived in Southern California. I featured a couple of soups this month, one was a rendition of a childhood favorite using the macaroni pasta in either star or alphabet shapes. Also, great for entertaining or a lazy weekend morning, Banana Cinnamon Roll Bites with Pecans are an easy-to-do tasty treat and for Valentine’s Day we had some chocolaty Bouchons and Pink Macarons filled with Honey, White Chocolate Ganache. Also, some musings on using Google Books for cookbook research and a discovery that Bed Bath & Beyond’s collaboration with Cost Plus is offering specialty food!
